I've been training dogs professionally for over ten years — service dogs, behavioral cases, board-and-train, and everything in between. I'm an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, and I've built my business around one idea: training should be practical, honest, and built for real life.
I'm based in Riddle, Oregon, and I work with dogs and families across Douglas County. My approach is balanced — I use the tools and methods that work for each individual dog and handler, not the ones that sound good on the internet. That means I'll be straight with you about what your dog needs, where they are in the process, and what it's going to take.
My own dog Kismet is a multipurpose service dog — she navigates me through grocery stores, finds my phone, and has become a familiar face at Tri City Elementary, where she shows the kids what a working dog can do. Every dog that comes through here becomes part of the Frankly Pack, and I take that seriously.
Service dog training — from temperament assessment through task training and public access work. Behavioral training — leash manners, reactivity, anxiety, aggression, and the everyday challenges that make life with your dog harder than it should be. Board-and-train — intensive programs where your dog stays with me and we build a foundation together, then I teach you how to maintain it. AKC CGC preparation and evaluation — the Canine Good Citizen test is a great milestone for any dog, and a starting point for therapy and service dog work.
Because I'll be frank with you. If your dog isn't ready for something, I'll tell you. If a different tool or approach would work better, I'll say so. If the timeline is longer than you want to hear, I'd rather be honest now than set you up for frustration later. We all learn something new every day in any profession — and that includes me.
Training isn't about fixing a broken dog. It's about building a team — you and your dog, working together, understanding each other. If you want to talk about your dog, I'm here.
